Colorado is certainly beautiful any time of year, but you can’t beat it when spring rolls around and everything begins turning green. The warmer weather is bringing more photo sessions along with it and that’s a good thing. Martha and Jordan wanted to wait for spring color for their engagement shoot and chose to visit Fox Run Park and Colorado College. Great couple, great connection, great locations, what else could we ask for? Well, the weather was great too!

Martha and Jordan are our grand prize winners from Bridal Extravaganza 2012. I’m telling you it pays to come meet us at bridal shows :). Actually I think we were winners here as well–these two were fun, laid back, and very easy to photograph.

Thanks again, Martha & Jordan!

This past Tuesday started out windy, blustery, cold, but sunny. Everyone was determined to get an engagement shoot in and we’re certainly glad we did. The winds calmed as the shoot went on, and the lighting and Colorado Springs scenery did their part. And oh yeah, Jessica and Juan were rockin’ it. They are an awesome couple with great energy, smiles, and an amazing connection.

Our first stop was Garden of the Gods, the location of their first date. There are many unique perspectives among the red rock formations and terrain of the park. Next we went to Rock Ledge Ranch which is one of our favorite locations to shoot. It’s a city-operated living history museum and working farm. We ended the session as the sun set on beautiful Manitou Springs, a fun little town and quintessential tourist destination at the base of Pikes Peak.

Congratulations once again on your engagement, Jessica and Juan. We had a great time shooting these and are looking forward to your wedding!
